Dan and Eva of the Vamp Chat podcast are on an east coast booksigning tour for their new novels and are coming to Richmond for a Vampiric Literature weekend!

Dan & Eva will be doing a live Vamp Chat podcast,
on stage, at 8 pm interviewing Stanley Stepanic from UV and Ashley Grant, an up and coming Virginia author.
A costume contest with prizes as well as a door raffle.

Special Guest - Stanley Stepanic - University of Virginia
Stanley Stepanic is an Associate Professor in Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Virginia. He teaches courses on language, in particular Polish, Russian and East European Film, Russian Folklore, as well as a class on vampires in video games co-taught through Computer Science. His most popular class, however, is titled "Dracula," a historical overview of the vampire from its pre-Christian Slavic roots to modern-day media.
He has written three textbooks, including one on vampires, and recently published a combination novella and historical essay, with actress biographies,
called A Vamp There Was. In 2026 he will also be featured as a primary expert for a new National Geographic series concerning monsters, in particular the up-coming episode on vampires.

Sept. 26 also happens to be Edgar Allan Poe's last day in Richmond, so we have en expert from the Poe Museum to regale us with his story on this historic evening.
